My name is Naomi White.

I started this blog because of a school project. I want to get my name out in the world! why? because I am a fresh young fashion designer ready to take on the world with my crazy ideas!

So about me….. theres nothing much to tell yet. I was born on the 5th of August 1992, in a little town called Waimate (New Zealand), where i grew up on a farm out in the middle of nowhere. I went to a cute little primary school called Waihoa Downs where my teachers encouraged my creative flare.

I than moved onto Waimate High School. In my last year of high school i entered a gateway program where i worked at Amandas bridal services one day a week, my manager (Mandy) chucked me strait into the deep end of sewing and expected me to keep up with her, she was an amazing teacher, teaching most of what i know about sewing today, and encouraging me to reach higher into the fashion world.

My next step in life led me to The Aoraki Polytechnic Fashion design course in Timaru. I had another two amazing teachers there, and even though i infuriated my teachers with my outrageous designs, they accepted the way i was, and believed in what I wanted to accomplish. Aoraki Polytechnic in Timaru is a really good learning curve for anybody in the fashion industry and i highly recommend going there.

Graduation from Aoraki polytechnic, Diploma in Arts and Media Level 6 with an Endorsement in fashion design, I also received the excellence award for being top of my class in fashion.

I than had a transfer to Otago polytechnic in Dunedin to upgrade my fashion study to a Bachelors Degree. I finished this degree in 2014.

I am now starting up my Fashion Brand “Lida Fashion”.

So look out for my logo and fashion designs because i will rock the fashion world!
